AliExpress Choice Day September 2026: Best Deals for Ghanaian Shoppers (1-7 Sep)

AliExpress Choice Day is live right now — and if you haven’t checked the deals yet, today is the day to do it. Running from September 1 to September 7, 2026, Choice Day is AliExpress’s monthly recurring sale event focused exclusively on AliExpress Choice products, with discounts of up to 60% off across multiple categories. Click here to shop now!

For Ghanaian shoppers, this is one of the better windows in September to buy from AliExpress — Choice Day discounts are some of the deepest available outside of the major 11.11 and Anniversary sales, and they apply across products that already come with free shipping on orders above $10. That combination — a percentage discount stacked on top of free shipping — is where the real savings are.

This guide covers exactly what Choice Day is, what to shop for, how to make the most of it as a Ghanaian buyer, and what’s coming on AliExpress for the rest of September so you can plan ahead.

What Is AliExpress Choice Day?

AliExpress Choice Day is a monthly promotional event running from the 1st to the 7th of every month, focused on products carrying the AliExpress Choice badge. It is not a one-day flash event — it runs for a full seven days, giving Ghanaian shoppers enough time to browse, compare, and order without rushing.

The AliExpress Choice programme is AliExpress’s quality-assurance initiative. Products earn the Choice badge by meeting higher standards for pricing, seller reliability, and delivery speed. For shoppers in Ghana, Choice products come with two practical benefits that standard AliExpress listings don’t guarantee:

Free shipping on orders above $10 — Choice products ship for free when your basket exceeds $10. This applies regardless of where you are in Ghana — Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, or anywhere else with a delivery address.

Faster delivery to Ghana — Choice products typically arrive in 7 to 15 business days via AliExpress Choice Shipping, compared to 15 to 30 days for standard non-Choice shipping. For a platform where delivery time is one of the main trade-offs, this is a meaningful improvement.

During Choice Day, these already-discounted, already-free-shipping products receive an additional promotional reduction — bringing total savings up to 60% on selected items.

What Can You Buy During AliExpress Choice Day?

Choice Day discounts span the full AliExpress catalogue — there is no single featured category. The best approach for Ghanaian shoppers is to filter your search to Choice products and then browse whatever category you’re shopping in. Here’s where Choice Day tends to deliver the strongest value:

Phone Accessories and Electronics Accessories

Phone accessories are one of AliExpress’s strongest categories year-round, and Choice Day brings the prices down further. Charging cables, phone cases, screen protectors, wireless earbuds, Bluetooth speakers, power banks, and USB hubs are all worth checking. These are lightweight items that ship well via AliExpress Choice Shipping, and at $10 or above your shipping is free — making it easy to bundle several accessories in one order.

Fashion and Clothing

Fashion is consistently one of the most heavily discounted categories on AliExpress during promotional events. Dresses, tops, trousers, activewear, shoes, bags, and accessories are all available at reduced prices during Choice Day. The same sizing advice applies: always check the measurements in centimetres listed in the specifications before ordering clothing — Asian sizing runs smaller than Ghanaian sizing, and the measurements are more reliable than the label.

Home Organisation and Kitchen

Storage solutions, kitchen tools, organisers, cleaning equipment, and small home appliances are reliably discounted during Choice Day. These are practical, everyday items where AliExpress’s pricing is significantly lower than local Ghanaian shops, and the Choice badge gives you added confidence in seller reliability.

Beauty and Personal Care

Skincare, haircare, and beauty accessories are available at reduced prices. Check seller ratings carefully in this category — reviews and photo reviews from other buyers are the most reliable guide to product quality on any open marketplace.

Gadgets and Small Electronics

Smart watches, fitness trackers, mini projectors, gaming accessories, and everyday tech gadgets are all worth browsing during Choice Day. For higher-value electronics, always check the seller’s rating and order history before buying.

How to Find Choice Day Deals on AliExpress

Getting to the right products quickly saves time and ensures you’re actually looking at Choice Day pricing rather than regular catalogue listings.

Filter by AliExpress Choice: When you search for any product on AliExpress, use the filter options to select “AliExpress Choice” products only. This narrows your results to the products eligible for Choice Day pricing and free shipping.

Check the Choice Day deals page: AliExpress typically has a dedicated Choice Day landing page during the event period. Look for it on the AliExpress homepage or in the app’s promotions section.

Use the AliExpress app: Some Choice Day deals are app-exclusive. If you’re browsing on the website, check the same product on the app before buying — app-only pricing occasionally runs lower during promotional events.

Sort by orders or reviews: Within your filtered results, sorting by “orders” surfaces the products with the strongest buyer track record, which is a reliable proxy for quality on a marketplace platform.

How to Get the Most Out of AliExpress Choice Day as a Ghanaian Shopper

Combine a platform coupon code with your Choice Day discount. AliExpress allows you to stack a platform-wide coupon code with the Choice Day promotional price on your order. Check our AliExpress Ghana deals page on EasyOffers before you shop — if a current AliExpress Ghana promo code is available, applying it at checkout on top of your Choice Day price gives you the combined saving.

Collect seller coupons before adding to cart. Visit the store page of any seller you’re buying from and collect their store coupon before proceeding. Seller coupons combine with both the Choice Day platform discount and any platform-wide promo code, giving you up to three layers of savings on a single order.

Build your order above $10 to guarantee free shipping. Choice Day free shipping applies on orders over $10. If your order is slightly under that threshold, adding a low-cost accessory — a cable, a phone holder, a small organiser — takes you over the threshold and removes the shipping fee entirely.

Check dimensions before buying anything size-dependent. Product photos on AliExpress frequently make items look larger than they are. Before adding any home goods, fashion, or accessories to your cart, find the dimensions in centimetres listed in the specifications section and visualise them with a tape measure. This is the single most common frustration Ghanaian AliExpress buyers experience — and it’s completely avoidable.

Read photo reviews from real buyers. Buyer-uploaded photos show the product in real homes and on real people — far more useful than the seller’s professional photography for judging actual size, colour accuracy, and quality.

Order today if you want Choice Shipping delivery this month. AliExpress Choice Shipping to Ghana typically takes 7 to 15 business days. An order placed on September 1 can realistically arrive by mid-September. An order placed on September 7 (the last day of Choice Day) may arrive closer to late September. If you need your order before end of September, place it as early in the Choice Day window as possible.

What’s Coming on AliExpress After Choice Day — September 2026 Sale Calendar

Choice Day (September 1–7) is only the first of five AliExpress promotional events this month. Here is the full September 2026 AliExpress promotion calendar so you can plan your purchases strategically:

This is an unusually packed promotional month on AliExpress. If you can wait on a non-urgent purchase, it may be worth holding until a later event — particularly the Fall Sale (14–20 September), which is the longest promotional window of the month at seven days. However, if a product you want is already at a strong Choice Day price with free shipping, waiting is not always worth it — prices are not guaranteed to be lower at a later event, and stock on popular items can move quickly during promotions.

Payment and Delivery for AliExpress Ghana Orders

Payment: AliExpress accepts Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, and PayPal. Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money) is not currently accepted on AliExpress. If your Ghanaian bank card has been declined before on international sites, contact your bank to confirm that international online transactions are enabled — some Ghanaian banks disable this by default.

Delivery: Choice products ship to Ghana via AliExpress Choice Shipping in approximately 7 to 15 business days from the date of dispatch. Dispatch typically takes an additional 1 to 3 business days after you place your order. For tracking, use the AliExpress app or website — your tracking number is visible in your order history once the seller dispatches.

Customs: Low-value orders generally pass through Ghanaian customs without duty assessment. Higher-value orders — particularly above $100 — carry a risk of import duties and VAT. Factor this into your total cost before placing a large order. AliExpress Buyer Protection does not cover goods held or returned by customs for unpaid duties.

Tips for First-Time AliExpress Buyers in Ghana

If this is your first time shopping on AliExpress, Choice Day is a good starting point — the Choice badge filters out many of the lower-quality sellers, the free shipping removes one cost variable, and the event pricing gives you a clear reference point for whether you’re getting a good deal.

A few things to do before your first order:

• Create your AliExpress account and check whether a new user welcome offer is currently active — first-time buyers often receive a discount coupon on their initial order
• Add your Ghanaian delivery address carefully — include a clear landmark description for your street address to help the delivery carrier
• Start with a lower-value order to get familiar with the platform before committing to higher-value purchases
• Save your payment card details securely in the app for faster checkout on future orders

Frequently Asked Questions

When does AliExpress Choice Day September 2026 end?

AliExpress Choice Day September 2026 runs until September 7, 2026. After that, the next AliExpress promotional event is Fall Revival Savings, starting September 8.

How much can I save during AliExpress Choice Day?

AliExpress Choice Day offers discounts of up to 60% on eligible Choice products. The actual saving on any specific product depends on its original price and the individual seller’s promotion during the event.

Does AliExpress Choice Day include free shipping to Ghana?

Yes. AliExpress Choice products include free shipping on orders above $10, and this applies during Choice Day. The free shipping uses AliExpress Choice Shipping, which takes approximately 7 to 15 business days to arrive in Ghana.

Can I use a promo code during AliExpress Choice Day?

Yes. A platform-wide AliExpress promo code can be combined with the Choice Day discount price at checkout. Check our AliExpress Ghana deals page for any currently available codes before you shop.
